Dr. Larry Stifler '53

Dr. Larry Stifler '53 graduated from Calvert grateful for the education he received and vowed to give back if he ever had the chance. In 2004, he established the Lawrence T. P. Stifler Scholarship Fund at Calvert and has given scholarships to every institution he attended. He had this to say about why he created an endowed fund at Calvert, "In 1949, Calvert gave me a scholarship when very few schools were offering them. My mother was barely 18 when I was born and a single mom."
